Instructions for the use of the herbicide Meister Power, composition and consumption rate

Meister Power is a herbicide that provides control of a wide range of weeds in corn crops. This remedy is considered one of the best selective herbicides. So, when used correctly, the amount of weed will be reduced by about 90 percent when compared with a situation when this drug is not used.

Composition and release form of the drug

The drug is available in the form of an oily dispersion. The container for it is five-liter canisters. The composition of Master Power is as follows (the number of constituent elements per 1 liter of the product is indicated in milligrams):

  • foramsulfuron - 31500;
  • methyl sodium iodosulfuron - 1000;
  • methyl thiencarbazone - 10,000.

Also, the preparation contains cyprosulfamide (15,000 milligrams per hectare).

Mechanism of action of Meister Power

The drug blocks the acetolactate synthetase enzyme. This prevents the formation of amino acids at the points of growth of weeds, and also stops cell division. The weed stops growing and does not compete with the crop.

Advantages and disadvantages of the tool

The advantages of the herbicide include the following:

  • complete control of weeds;
  • preventing the growth of weeds, regardless of the characteristics of the climate and soil on which the crop grows;
  • there is no need to use tank mixes;
  • control of the 2nd wave of weeds;
  • no need to use adhesives;
  • the effect of burning grass passing through the growing season.

There are practically no significant disadvantages of this drug. Minuses include the need to use it only in the absence of wind gusts and not earlier than 6 hours before the rain.

Consumption rate

The Meister Power consumption rate is 1.25 liters per hectare (with optimal timing, the presence of dicotyledonous and cereal type weeds).

For overgrowing grass in later stages, it is recommended to use 1.5 liters of product per hectare.

Preparation of working solution

The spray solution is prepared just before use. For this, the required amount of the product is poured into the sprayer. It is advisable to pour the liquid directly into the sprayer tank (if the agitator on the hydraulics works normally). The tank of the device must be at least 50 percent full of water.

How to apply the herbicide correctly?

Instructions for using the drug are quite simple.So, it is necessary to spray crops with ground boom sprayers, which are equipped with slotted tips for introducing active elements of the liquid into the soil.

Safety rules for use

When applying a herbicide, you must follow these rules:

  • do not use with nitrogen fertilizers;
  • do not use when corn is under stress or a strong wind is blowing;
  • spray crops at a temperature not higher than 25 degrees.

Toxicity to humans and animals

The drug has a 2nd hazard class. It negatively affects the mucous membranes of the eyes of people and animals, and causes irritation. Therefore, when processing crops, you need to use protective equipment.

Storage periods

Meister Power analogs

Instead of Meister Power, you can use other means that are considered its analogues:

  1. Trimmer. A universal systemic remedy that allows you to fight the common one- and perennial dicotyledonous grass. It is used when at least 3-5 leaves appear on seedlings.
  2. Quasar. A systemic drug used against one- and perennial weeds after germination.
  3. Miranda. Complex agent, which is a suspension. Designed to destroy weeds that have appeared among crops.
  4. Aztec. A soil herbicide used when corn is planted.
  5. Triton. The drug is absorbed into the leaves of the weeds, moves to their points of growth, therefore, the weed dies in the shortest possible time.
  6. Turbines. Highly active agent against grass grass.

This is not a complete list of preparations for processing corn. There are funds introduced into the land even before the sowing of the crop (Merlin, Saga).

instruction by Miranda

Meister Power is the optimal weed control agent in corn fields.

He has practically no drawbacks. The main thing is to follow the rules of application so as not to harm the grown corn.
