The plant in question belongs to the Kislichnye genus, which has more than 800 representatives. It looks like a herbaceous shrub, which has a knobby and creeping rhizome and leaves of a tripartite shape. The flowering period of sour cherry falls in May-June. The flowers are white in color; specimens with yellow or pink inflorescences are less common.

The medicinal herb has several more names, some of them are directly related to its sour taste: hare salt, borshchivka or sour. In Germany, this plant is called sour clover.

  2. Pour raw materials 180 ml of hot milk (preferably homemade).
  3. Maintain the composition in a water bath for half an hour.
  4. Cool to room temperature.

Traditional healers recommend drinking such a drug three times a day, 30 minutes before eating. In addition to the antipyretic effect, oxalis stimulates the immune system in a person to fight an infectious disease and strengthens the general condition of the body.

In case of violations of the liver and kidneys, a tincture of medicinal acid is prepared. You will need dry raw materials, a tablespoon of which is poured into 400 ml of hot water and brought to a boil over low heat. After that, they put it in a water bath - it is important that the dishes in which the drink is prepared are enameled. After that, it is kept for 15 minutes and filtered through a gauze folded in several layers. Drink half a cup three times a day while eating.

Tincture for the treatment of liver and kidneys is also prepared with alcohol. 50 grams of dried leaves are poured over 200 ml of good quality vodka. Insist for several weeks in a dark place. Take a teaspoon before meals three times a day.

A cloth or piece of gauze is moistened in it and applied to the affected area. Top with a piece of plastic wrap and a warm scarf or shawl. Stand for about half an hour.

Oxalis becomes an alternative to sorrel in spring. Ingredient set for green cabbage soup looks like this:

  • potato tubers 60 grams;
  • 50 g of sour grass;
  • half a boiled egg;
  • one small onion;
  • 300 g of chicken broth (can be replaced with ordinary water);
  • a tablespoon of butter;
  • 10-15 ml sour cream;
  • salt and spices are added to your taste.

Bring the pre-cooked broth to a boil. Potatoes cut into medium cubes are dipped into it and boiled for about 15 minutes. In a skillet, separately in butter, fry the finely chopped onion until golden brown and add to the cabbage soup. Next, finely chopped sour. A few minutes before cooking, salt and add your favorite spices. Before serving, sprinkle with finely chopped egg, put sour cream on a plate.
