Tomato "Chernomor" is a well-known variety of dark-fruited tomatoes with good yields. More recently, dark tomatoes in our summer cottages were a rare and exotic phenomenon, and today they are grown by many gardeners. It should be noted that despite the name, the fruits of the variety are mostly not black, but brown, dark brown or purple-burgundy.

"Chernomor" is a mid-season variety (110-120 days from the moment of planting in the ground to ripening). The tomato is semi-determinate, suitable for both open ground and greenhouse conditions.

The height of the bush depends on the growing conditions, on average it reaches one and a half meters. The variety requires a tie to the support and moderate pinching. The best harvest was achieved when a bush was formed with 2-3 stems.

Growing features

Seeds for seedlings are sown 60-70 days before planting in a permanent place. Seedlings dive in the 2-leaf stage.
