Description of the tomato variety Fairy Gift and its characteristics

In 2008, the agricultural company Aelita registered and launched a new tomato Fairy's Gift. A beautiful, heart-shaped tomato of juicy orange color came to the taste of many vegetable growers and began to gain popularity. The manufacturer gives the following varietal description and yield:

  • early ripe (93-95 days);
  • high-yielding (up to 9.3 kg / m2);
  • determinant plant;
  • universal (suitable for growing in open and protected ground);
  • the fruit is medium-sized (90-110 g), heart-shaped, orange;
  • tasty, sweetish;

plant determinant

The variety does not belong to hybrid, therefore vegetable growers can provide themselves with seed for the next season. Reviews of gardeners about the Fairy's Gift are usually positive, no obvious negative qualities were found.

Seedling

Seedlings of tomatoes Fairy's gift is sown in the second half of March. The soil mixture is prepared nutritious with a high content of organic components: humus, compost, peat, rotted sawdust. Be sure to add mineral components in the form of wood ash and complex fertilizers.

suitable for canning

At the age of 1-2 true leaves, seedlings dive. It is best to transplant tomatoes into separate containers. Seedlings grow five to seven true leaves by 60-65 days and are ready for relocation to a permanent place. The Fairy Gift is planted in greenhouses in mid-May, in open ground in early June, using a 50x40 cm scheme.

Bush formation

The description of the variety characterizes the Fairy Gift variety as determinant. The bush grows short, 1-1.1 m. However, the abundant ovary obliges you to form and tie the bush. The plant is grown in 2-3 stems, the rest of the shoots are regularly removed... Thus, the bush forms 5-6 full-fledged ovary brushes and does not waste energy on the growth of numerous stepsons and late flowering. So that the plant does not die under the weight of heavy fruits, it is provided with reliable support.

Watering

Tomatoes belong to a moisture-loving culture, but due to their powerful root system, they can tolerate small dry periods quite firmly. It is better not to allow the earthen coma to dry completely. It is dangerous during active filling of tomatoes.

Abundant watering, after severe drying, causes cracking of the fruit.

    I didn't know how to grow tomatoes correctly before. Now I use the tool BioGrow, it is a growth bioactivator. It makes it much easier to grow healthy and tasty tomatoes.
