This variety of tomatoes was created in America, presumably by a Russian emigrant, with the help of breeding developments brought by her, which were recognized in the form of original and tasty tomatoes.

The variety is classified as early-maturing, which is approximately 90 days after planting. But in cold territorial areas, the first harvest can take up to 100 days.

The cultivation is carried out equally fruitfully both in the open field and in greenhouse conditions.

Due to the determinant, that is, limited, growth, the height of the bush usually does not exceed 90 cm. As it grows, the old, often used method of tying should be practiced. For best yields, blue spruce should be formed with 2 or 3 stems.

Important! To reduce the risk of contracting fungal diseases, it is necessary to adhere to watering norms. Blue spruces should be irrigated with water purposefully around the root, preventing moisture from entering the deciduous part of the plant. Caring for tomatoes in a greenhouse environment requires regular ventilation with sufficient air access.

Planting and leaving

Seeds are planted in the second half of March or early April. In order to avoid troubles when transplanting to open soil areas, when the roots and fragile stems of the plant can break, in order to save time, it is advisable to sow tomatoes directly into peat pots filled with universal soil. It will also reduce the likelihood of seedling diseases.

Important! To improve the root system of seedlings, it is recommended to soak the seeds in the plant biostimulator "Kornevin" before planting.

After germination of seeds, further care of the seedlings is necessary with regular sufficient watering. After 2 months, the spruce seedlings are ready for transfer to the open ground.

Planting should be carried out in previously prepared grooves, maintaining a distance between the bushes of 40 - 50 cm. The soil should be treated with a hot solution of manganese to get rid of various parasites. It is recommended to put mineral fertilizers in all pits in the amount of 1 tbsp. spoons with its further introduction after the next 15 - 20 days after the landing. For these purposes, manure and organic fertilizers without harmful chemicals are used to make the tomatoes environmentally friendly.
