Breeding history

The variety was donated to gardeners by an amateur breeder VN Krainov. The author took as a basis the popular varieties: Kishmish Radiant and Talisman. The result is a fruitful table grape with improved characteristics.

Description of the variety

Anyuta is an ideal variety for gardeners who want to have table grapes on their menu. Description of the variety:

  • the plant is easily rooted and adaptable;
  • fruiting occurs in the 3rd year of life in the garden;
  • a variety of medium ripening (145 days from the awakening of the vine to harvest);
  • vigorous bush (vine stretches up to 3 m);
  • the vine is sometimes loose (it breaks under the weight of the berries);
  • the leaf is bright green, small;
  • lack of peas;
  • the variety is resistant to temperature changes;
  • the fruits do not fall off the bush within 2-3 weeks after the harvest ripens;
  • active growth of shoots (regular stripping is required);
  • excellent rooting of cuttings (98%).

ideal grade

Anyuta has advantages over similar table varieties: stable fruiting, full ripening of berries, quick adaptation to weather conditions.

Features of the variety and distinctive features

The variety has features. When grown on fertile soils, the vine is overloaded with brushes and breaks. Berries left on the bushes after ripening lose their taste. To obtain a stable harvest, it is recommended to take into account such features.

Berries

It is easy to recognize Anyuta by the berries:

  • pink color, with a slight bluish bloom;
  • 4 bones inside;
  • berries are oval-ovoid;
  • the maximum weight of the grape is 20 g;
  • berry size 35 mm x 25 mm;
  • brushes are loose, lush, conical;
  • average hand weight - 1200 g, maximum - 1500 g;
  • the pulp is watery, juicy, sweet;
  • the skin is dense.

Anyuta's harvest is easy to transport over long distances: the berries remain marketable.

Bush

Characteristics of the Anyuta bush:

  • the plant is tall, powerful (support is required);
  • the bark is light brown;
  • the vine ripens in a season;
  • frost resistance of the vine up to -24 degrees Celsius;
  • the root system is prone to freezing;
  • the bush overloads itself with fruits: normalization is required;
  • the leaf is large, light green;
  • the bush is prone to overgrowth: stripping and lightening of ripening clusters is required.

The grapes tolerate frost easily.But the root system freezes: in regions with prolonged frosts, it is required to cover the plant for the winter.

Landing features

Anyuta is a table variety with high characteristics. But getting a harvest of quality berries is possible only with proper planting. The recommendations of agronomists should be followed:

  1. Anyuta bears fruit well in sunny areas protected from the north and north-east winds. The grapes should be planted near the southern and southwestern walls of summer cottages. It is recommended to take into account the size of the bush: it is required to retreat from the walls 2.5-3 m.
  2. The grower should take care of the support for the vine in advance. The plant overloads itself with fruits. Untied stems break, the harvest is lost.
  3. The depth of the groundwater at the site is 3-4 m. The grapes cannot stand waterlogging of the soil. To prevent wetting and decay of the root system, drainage is required before planting. To do this, it is necessary to grind crushed stone, brick, tiles and pour a layer of 7-10 cm on the bottom of the planting pit. This simple measure will prevent stagnation of water at the roots.

If all recommendations are followed, Anyuta bears fruit regularly and abundantly.

Soil selection

The variety prefers fertile soils, loose, with a neutral or slightly alkaline reaction. It is recommended to deacidify acidic ones by adding lime (1 liter per square meter). To obtain a permeable soil, add perlite, neutral peat, sand.

Stock of cuttings

Anyuta takes root easily. This allows you to grow it as a rooted plant. But when grafted with cuttings, the period until the first harvest is shortened by a year. At the same time, the resistance of the root system to freezing increases.

Negative point: the scion inherits all diseases of the rootstock. This should be taken into account when choosing the latter. Any grape variety is suitable for the stock.

Landing

It is recommended to plant Anyuta in the garden in early spring (in March) or in mid-autumn (early October). For spring planting, the soil temperature should be 7-10 degrees Celsius. In autumn, it should be planted 2-3 weeks before the onset of a stable cold snap. During this time, the bush will have time to take root well.

Planting a plant is required in a planting hole. It must be large enough to accommodate the root system. The hole must be spilled well with water. Pour a mound of earth at the bottom and place the roots around it. Add the soil gradually. Seal the near-barrel circle. The planting should be mulched.

When growing several bushes, it is required to take into account the strength of growth: they should be planted at a distance of 1.5-2 m from each other.

Care

Anyuta is an unpretentious variety. It bears fruit even with inexperienced growers. But you need to follow the basic rules.

Watering

Anyuta is responsive to moderate watering. The soil should be moistened during flowering and ovary formation. It is recommended to stop watering during the ripening period: excessive soil moisture leads to cracking of the berries.

Pruning

The variety is vigorous. It needs to be trimmed to evenly brighten maturing brushes. It is imperative to carry out stripping during the ripening period.

Preparation for winter is impossible without formative pruning. Remove all immature vines (they are green). Then leave the replacement shoot (2 eyes) and above it the fruiting vine (6-7 eyes). Up to 6 of these segments must be left on the main vine.

Diseases and pests

Anyuta grapes have good immunity. It is resistant to fungal diseases. Of the pests, the variety is damaged by the bear and moles. These animals eat up the root system. For prevention, it is recommended to set traps and scarers.
